On April 28, 1948, a group of competitive shooters met at William F. Browning's house, located on Winnequah Road in Madison WI and formed a new gun club. You get one guess as to where the club name came from. The original founding member were Paul Gotstein, Orda Swaffort, John Vearhusen, Lawrence Ellis, and William Browning.
